Overview
Nancy's cottage, situated within 10 meters from the Atlantic Ocean has uninterrupted panoramic views and is a haven for wildlife. Nancy’s cottage can be found one mile/1.6KM from the town of Dungloe with its many shops, restaurants, bars and live music. Situated in North West Donegal and set in a rural, peaceful location.
For the bird watching enthusiast there are herons, cormorants, various ducks & gulls, curlews and kestrels to name but a few that have been viewed from the front of the cottage. Then to the back, the mature and well maintained back garden it is home to numerous varieties of garden birds. So bring your binoculars!!! Seals are regular visitors to the harbour and mink have been seen swimming by the pier. For the children, crab fishing is a must while the sea trout may be of interest to the more patient of fishermen / women.
At Nancy’s cottage the weekly rates are inclusive of oil, electricity, gas, turf for the open fire and all bed linen.
